Our delicious spiced (and easy to make) Apple & Cinnamon compote is the perfect kick-start to your morning when paired with pancakes, granola and yoghurt or even with a warm pastries.
1. Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Once the ingredients begin to boil, bring down the heat and let simmer gently until the apples have collapsed into a puree (this should take approx 20-30 minutes). Be sure to stir occasionally.
3. Serve warm or cold. The compote is delicious with granola, muesli or yoghurt for breakfast.
