A very grown-up fizzy orange (& apple)
Here’s how to make your own.
Zest 6 blood oranges into a saucepan
Cover with 100ml apple juice, bring to the boil then take off the heat, cover and infuse for 30 mins.
Meanwhile juice the 6 blood oranges (approx. 450ml) and add to the rest of the litre carton of Cawston Press Cloudy Apple juice.
Finally, strain the zest-infused juice through a muslin into the rest of the blend, twisting the muslin thoroughly to squeeze all the goodness out.
Add some sparkling water or soda – 2/3 juice to 1/3 sparkling water.
Serve over ice.
Add a few drops of vanilla extract for some extra flavour!
