This month, our very own booklovers at Cawston Press HQ let us know what books have got them turning pages nonstop.

1. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

"I read this recently and I absolutely loved it; ‘Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow’. A story about love, disability and video games. Really heart-warming and shows the importance of love in friendships, as well as romantic love. A very different kind of love story and I’m already excited to read it again!" - Bayleigh Sly, National Account Executive.

Genre: Fiction, Romance, Contemporary.

2. In Memoriam by Alice Winn

"A book I’d highly recommend is In Memoriam by Alice Winn. It’s a beautifully written and deeply moving novel set during World War I, following the lives of two boys who share a strong and meaningful friendship. However, beneath the surface, their bond runs even deeper as they grapple with their true feelings for each other amidst the horrors of war. Their love story unfolds in an incredibly poignant and heart-wrenching way, making this a powerful and unforgettable read that lingers long after you’ve turned the final page." - Sadhbh O'Connor, National Account Executive.

Genre: Fiction, LGBTQIA+, War.

3. Butter by Asako Yuzuki

"I’m reading this for a Book Club, It's Waterstones book of the year and TikTok has been going absolutely crazy over it. A Japanese cult classic about a famed female chef, convicted as the serial killer of lonely businessmen and a story-hungry young journalist who wishes to learn the secrets of gourmet from her. Haven’t finished it yet but it’s a good read, lots of detailed description and actually a cosy read despite the subject! - Bayleigh Sly, National Account Executive.

Genre: Thriller, Crime, Mystery.
